11 weeks and our ultrasound! :)

Your pregnancy: 11 weeks

How your baby's growing:
Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden.

She's already busy kicking and stretching, and her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming.

L and I met at RBA this morning at 9:00 for our final ultrasound with them! Yep, today was graduation! Bittersweet - they have been FANTASTIC and I have LOVED working with them!! Dr. Kort is the best RE, it has been such a pleasure to work with him and his team.

The ultrasound went GREAT!! I was all nervous before hand, as per my usual, but baby bean looked just perfect. Measuring RIGHT on track, and the tech got some gorgeous shots of the heart, spine, legs and feet. She tried to peek between the legs and at first it looked like BOY!! Like, OBVIOUSLY boy!! But she couldn't duplicate that shot and then it was looking like a girl! So, my IP's will have to wait a little while longer to find out!! They can't wait to know!

The tech even got an incredible 3-D shot of the baby from the side - just precious to see such intricate details on such a tiny little person... it is AMAZING how much they are developed already!

I am feeling so relieved to know everything is going well with the baby and the pregnancy so far and now I can relax and look forward to my weekend away! :)
